How Twitter connects Politics and Music ?
Do you like this story?
The Governor of Maryland, Martin O'Malley (@GovernorOmalley) is clearly a music lover. After listening to a song by the Baltimore musical duo @WyeOak, he immediately sent them a Tweet inviting them to the State House for a visit to see the Wye Oak desk which is built from the historic 450 year old Oak tree that recently fell. The band eagerly responded to the Tweet and they were able to coordinate with the office via DM.
The Governor is on a roll, as not too long ago he quoted Bruce Springsteen (@springsteen) in a speech and later tweeted him to let him know and offer an invitation.
